Château de l'Aumérade

Acquired by Henri and Charlotte Fabre in 1930, the Château de l'Aumérade is the largest of the six estates of the family. The 300 hectares of vineyards are situated in a vast clay-limestone plain of Pierrefeu. Its terroir delivers wines aged since 1955 in the elite of Crus Classés.

Louis Fabre - red

Cuvée Louis Fabre - Côtes de Provence AOP

The robe is black. Nose of red fruits on a slightly vanilla background. There is a great concentration of aroma which requires a slight aeration by carafing for it to express itself.

On the palate, the concentration is confirmed as much in the aromas as in the balance. Very well-structured wine with silky and generous tannins, embedded in a material that covers the entire palate.

It is better to wait a few years to soften it and express all its potential.
